26 Sep September 2016 Updates – and a look forward to October
This month has been a relatively full one as we close in ever so quickly on celebrating PAG 2016. There are a couple of things happening in October that we look forward to.
Missions Trip Abroad
Our official ambassador for PAG South Africa, Kenny Simon, will be heading off to Brazil to minister in 19 churches, bringing the gospel and sharing the love and saving grace of Jesus Christ. He will also aim to connect with ministries in Brazil in order that we may partner with and serve together in the kingdom. Our hope is to get PAG to be hosted and supported by this incredible nation. Kenny will also provide worship training where necessary and asked for.
News from Our Partners
On a more local, South African note, Radio Cape Pulpit/Kaapse Kansel 729AM wil be standing in as a host for the Northern Suburbs, Durbanville Area on the 5th of November. They have made provision for their parking lot area to be transformed to a public area of worship and will be leading those present in Amazing Grace come 16:00 GMT. We look forward to hear what God does in this particular venue on the day.
Then looking back to the past weekend, Mighty Men Conference Western Cape was again hosted by Morêson Farm on the N7. A couple of our team members went through to partner with what MMC served the men of the Western Cape with and came away blessed and encouraged. They also had the opportunity to lead the men in a rendition of Amazing Grace on the Saturday evening. We posted a video clip on our Facebook page if you missed it earlier. You can go have a look here.
Unity Lived Out
Lastly, we would love for you to spread the word of PAG to those networks and ministries you are involved with. We stand for unity and the only way the church will stand in unity is if we take hands and break down the barriers that stifles the body of Christ. No wall of denomination, race, social or economic standing should separate the varying parts of the body, but we should all aim to work together to see God’s kingdom reign on earth through His body of whom Jesus is the Head. We would also like to hear from you and your organization/ministry to see how we could join hands and run this race together.
“So that there would be no division in the body, but that the members would have the same concern for each other. So if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and individual members of it.” 1 Corinthians 12:25-27
Much love and grace
